There are many cases where the Consulate gave visa to single woman.
Only hitch is, you need to prove enough ties back home.
Prepare good set of documentations and remember

Getting panicky never solved any problems but confidence will do the trick

Being single or married is not the criteria to issue B2 visa to any one. Intention should be of temporary visit to US and proof that you will return back when your visit is completed. And you are visiting US just to visit your Friends or relatives and for tour purpose only. You should also prove the Consulate that you have sufficient funds to visit US or else you need to submit Affidavit of Support of your Sister in US. Having too and fro tickets would be added advantage for you.
