Returning on B-2 visa

My parents have B-2 visa - 10 year multiple entry. They are currently in US and will stay for 6 months.

Once they return to India in December, can they come back in February? We may have a family wedding here in the US in the February-March timeframe.

A 6 month stay , and another visit after a month's gap may cause the officer to suspect immigrant intent and send them to secondary inspection where they will be interrogated. Most likely they will be allowed in but this situation will be troublesome. So I suggest they leave in september , so they can have a spacing of about 4 months for the next visit in feb when they can stay full 6 months.
