Question Place of birth name changed -- Can seniors advice please

My place of birth in the passport is "Cuddapah". Now the city name is changed to "Kadapa". I got my birth certificate recently. So my birth certificate shows as "Kadapa". Does this matters. Which name should I mention in my 485 application or any application to USCIS.

    Thanks in advance.

I would use the one in your birth certificate.

As far as the application, you can always put them together separated by a '/'
