H1B Transfer while in India

Hi
I have my H1B stamped through and Indian company.
Its been a long time that i have waited for a project but things are not working out as they say that they do not have projects.
I know of a consulting company which says that the H1B can be transfered if i reach US without mentioning it to my employer (i will be on leave for that duration)
I wanted to clarify some things in this situation:
1) is this transfer possible i.e. in absence of my paystubs.
2) is this legal
3) what is Port of Entry. will i have to take care of it.
4) are there any important things that i have to take care of.
5) can the transfer be done when i am in India or shud i go to US on my own

Please help me with these concerns.

1) is this transfer possible i.e. in absence of my paystubs. is this legal Nowadays it is very tough without pay stub , unless your new company attorney explain the situation to USCIS very carefully. But it must be done within2-3 day you arive in US.3) what is Port of Entry. will i have to take care of it.
4) are there any important things that i have to take care of.
5) can the transfer be done when i am in India or shud i go to US on my own

you must be in US with a valid I 94 which will be issued at the port of entry, to do H1 transfer.
Please help me with these concerns.
