HI Praetorian,


I really apperciate your responses and time. My question is as of now i do not have the H1 extension receipt number yet from INS. I am waiting for it. My concern is still can i continue to work or wait till i get my receipt number?? My emplyoer has sent me the copy of the application he has applied i do not have the receipt number in my hand will it be a problem???

As of my sistuation i can not afford to loose my pay with all the expenses and bills on me

As long as you applied for H1 extension before the previous one expired and you are working for the same employer, you can continue to work.
