F1 status

hello friends,
Im on F1 visa,, my course ends on april 19 and my new course in other university starts in september,, i was informed that we are given 60 days grace period after the course completion to join the other one.
Is it sufficient that I enroll in the other university within the grace period as I will get the I-20 in May and can enroll in that. Or is it essential that my course should also start within the grace period.

you have 5 month starting from the last day of your privous I-20 till the first day of your new school good luck
