Can I apply for multiple i140s ?

I got an i140 approved through previous employer and applied 485 based on it, while I was with new employer. Now the new employer wants me to apply for i140. Will the new i140 process create any issue with the already approved one?

I didn't tell the current employer that I applied for i485 through my previous employer.

Yes, you can. No problem. Just make sure that you work with the sponsoring employer after getting your green card.
