Default Is 16 years of education required

    Hello,

My wife has completed her Bsc and likes to pursue MS in USA. We are already in US (me on H1 and she is on H4). She only has 15 years of education till now. I have heard that most of the good universities on USA mandate to have 16 years of education to be qualified for a MS.

    Can anyone please advise??

    Thanks in advance.

There are very few universities that will take a Bsc candidate for their masters provided the candidate has considerable experience(2-3 years may be) in the related field. There are universities like this.
    OR
They may ask your wife to take pre-requisites to make up a BS and then she can get her Bachelors and then you can try for the MS.

But there are universities which will take a Bsc candidate. You need to really research on this and not that these are bad universities.
Note that this is not a legal advice. Consult your immigration attorney for the best upto-date information.
