    Default sponsering parents.

    hi,

    i am on h1 visa and working as a resident in a hospital. its only been 6 months since i started this job. both my parents are doctors in india, with their own private practices. my question is, they are applying for their visitors visa soon, should i also be sponsering them? they really dont need me to sponser them...financially they are sound. but since i am there do i need to sponser them and fill in the affidavit of support?? plzz help me with this, thank you.

    Self-sponsorship is the best. If they can prove ties on their own and are financially stable, then there is no need for you to sign anything. Though it would not hurt to send them an invitation letter.
