About the fiancee visa, it says that it takes 6 to 10 months
to process. Is there anything that could be sooner than a 6 - 10 month
wait? Would applying for a fiancee visa put my son and my 5 year
multiple visitor visa in jeopardy? Would it be quicker and possible if
either my American fiancee or I visited as on a visitors visa and then got
married? Would we have to separate and return to our country after the
marriage until the proper visa/paperwork is granted or would I be
automatically granted a green card and work permit on the day of
marriage if we married in India or in the US? Please respond ASAP...

The BEST way for you to do this is through the K1 visa. It is not going to get any faster than that.

You can not go to the USA and marry and stay there with a visitor visa, that would be fraud.

Your fiance can come to India and get married there, BUT, then he has to file for a K-3 visa for you (spouse visa) and it will take about the same time a K1 would take.

Another thing is the two of you get married in India and he files for an IR1 visa and that would allow you to get a Green Card right away (when you enter the USA) and start working and all... But the processing time is still about 8-10 months.

So either you spend 6-10 months apart engaged or married, it is your choice.

Once that either K-1, K-2 or IR1 visa are filed for you, it will be very hard to use your visitor visa to enter the USA. Again, you can not use that visa now that you have immigrant intent, otherwise you could be charged with fraud and deported.
