    Default H-1B Visa stamping

    Dear Sir/Madam,

I am an international student who graduated at Webster University in July 26th 2006. Currently, I am working in an accountant company which will sponsor my H-1B Visa. However, my OPT card will be expired at the end of July this year while the H-1B Visa will not be affected till Oct 1st. My company asks me to leave the country for the H-1B petition. They said when the H-1B Visa is accepted, they will send it over to my country, then I can get it to the US embassy apply for a Visa entry to the USA. I understand that it is risky and costly, so I would like to find out if there is anyway such as change my status to travel Visa or F-1 for higher education so that I can stay in this country legally between Aug to Oct?

No, you can't get your visa stamped in US. You need to do it from your country.
