Property valuation from CA

Hi,

I'm a newbie. I have scheduled visa interview for my parents on Feb 28th. We have a house property on my mother's name. But when we approached few Chartered Accountants for getting valuation for the same, they responsed that CAs do not provide such document rather Engineers would do.

Please can anyone suggest me a CA or related service group in Chennai (Specific name and contact details will help a lot), whom we may have to approch to get this document. I'm really finding it difficult to coordinate from here, since my parents are not aware of these things.

usually CA will do that. Try to go to another CA. Engineers won't do that.

But can someone (hailing from Chennai) suggest me a specific person so that I will ask my parents to contact them directly.

Also, what is the exact thing that we need to explain to the CA to get this? Probably they use different terms to refer to the same document.

That's OK.
Different people do it in different ways.

All you need is get a estimate from a CA for all movable and immovable properties.

Take all originals like bank pass book, property documents and sit with them for a couple of hours.
