    Hi ,

    Can anyone let me know the process involved in h1b filing..

    What are the steps involved in that(which is followed by the employer)

    And also the documents which is required for the same from the employer...

    You find an employer, collect your education and experience documents, and let the employer take care of his required documents. If you are selected in the lottery, just appear at the embassy prepared to demonstrate that you are qualified for the job being offered.

    A list of the documents expected from the emplyer has been posted many times; search the forum. You have no need for the employer's documents other than to present them to the IO at the time of your interview. A legitimate employer will provide you with everything needed to support his application for your visa.

    Just curious to know the following thing...can you please help...

    I have applied for h1 thru an employer ...
    Is there any way we can trace to find that our documents are submitted to consulate ... Is it possible to know now ???

    Your returned check should have a sequence number that you can use.
