H4 Stamping at Chennai (India) _ Urgent

I have a question on H4 Stamping. I am working in USA as a software engineer from the last 3 years. Recently my family went back to India for vacation. Recently I have changed my employer. I got new H1 approval notice from INS.

Now if I send my approval notice and relevant documents to chennai US consulate for stamping of my wife and child passports (who are they in India presently) with out my visa stamping on my passport of new company, is it possible to stamp H4 visa for them?

I appreciate for you if I get a detailed reply on my issue.

yes it is possible to get the H4 visa. Also read the recent bullettin from the other lawyer site about practices in chennai consulate.
