Interview dates availability

Hi,

First of all... Immihelp is doing a great job... thanks to its people and mods..

Anybody please tell me how much time it takes to get a Visitor visa interview date (exp in Mumbai consulate). Somebody told me that now it does not take months to get an interview... please help

You can check the appointment availability dates on VFS website even without a HDFC receipt.

Ok I am not specific on the dates question... here i go again

Does anyone know how much time it will take for me to get interview (in hindi) date in Mumbai consulate? I am checking the VFS site, they have not yet opened the dates for June for hindi Interviews.... so just wanted to check if anyone knows unsually in how many days I can get the dates???? has anybody done this???

I am taking single appointment for my parents tourist visa.
Father knows english and mother dont.
Is it okey to take English appointment for both of them?

Hi We spoke to CSR at Us-VFS in india and they said that we can take Appointment in Engligh as long as my parents are going together.

I called them up twice and spoke to two dofferent CSR and got the same reply.

You can also call them up and confirm the same with any specific questions
you might have.

Hi My parents just completed interview on 31st May.

As my mother didnt know english but Father knew it.
with advice from VFS we took next available interview date in English.

However upon entering to consulate, my parents were asked if they need INTERPRETER and my father promptly said yes.....they had to wait for 30 extra min.

The interview was done in Gujarati and both parents were so happy with interview process.

They were very confident in answering questions and needless to say that both parents got visa.
