may let the officer think you wish to settle in US like you settled in australia.
Please do not mind but chances are slim.

      If you still want to try;

*You should NOT get sponsorship from bro and sis.
Show you are spending your own money.
      * Get 3-4 friends and buy a refundable tour package. Do not show you are going to meet bro and sis.If asked, say you will meet bro and sis if
you get time out of itinerary.
*Get a leave cum employment letter from your employer.

Chances are still not great but you could get lucky with a lenient officer.

      Hi,

I have a similar question and wondering if you could give me some advice.

Me and the two boys are NZ citizens and Aus PR however, my wife is an Indian citizen (and AUS and NZ PR).

She is travelling with the boys couple of weeks earlier and I join later. My wife's sister lives in the US and we want to spend time with their family.
We have a return ticket in 7 weeks.

we also have internal flights within US booked.

We both are employed with a prominent bank here in Australia.. I have been with the bank for 10 years and my wife about 1.5..

We are able to show in excess of $100k as savings and some credit cards..

We have our own house that we bought about 3 years ago however, only acquired PR a month ago..

Our elder son is attending school here..

Until now I thought the visa to the US should not be a problem.. however reading alot of personal experiences is making me a bit nervous.

Just like to understand from your perspective if there is anything we need to be mindful about for the interview.
