On H4, she may NOT work in any capacity while living in the US. She may NOT work in US even if she receives pay in Indian currency to an Indian account. Illegal work in the US is viewed very harshly. If she works while on H4 status, she will be violating US law.

If she must work, she must return to India. There are no exceptions for her to work on H4. Since she will not have worked in India for that employer for a year before coming to the US, she cannot use the L visas.

This is well publicized. Why did she not bother to check this out first!
