My brother and mother plan to attend an interview together in Delhi since they will travel to USA together. Is it okay to schedule the interview in English, even though my mother speaks only Hindi? Obviously my brother will do most of the talking and provide the necessary documentation. Some friends have suggested it is okay to schedule English interview for this situation. Can someone let me know if they actually know of their family members doing English interview with a non-english speaking family member accompanying them for the interview? Thank you.

As long as one person speaks English, you can schedule interview in English.
