  • H1-B Re-Validation

    Hi,

My H1-B visa expired on 15th Sept.2000. My employer have filed a petetion for my H1-B extention one month back.

    The questions are...
    1. When should I get my new I-94?
    2. Should I leave the US without visa stamping & get the Visa stamp in India only?

I will apperitiate your help. Thanks in advance.

    Thanks,
    -Manoj

    1. You will get new I-94 along with your H1 approval.
    2. If you already have H1B visa stamp in your passport, you can revalidate it by sending it to St. Louis, MO. Else you have to do stamping in India. If you don't plan to travel at all for the validity period of your next H1 visa, you don't need visa stamp.
