    I am working in USA on H1-b visa. Currently I want to return to India, after 3& 1/2 year of my stay in USA. I have valid SSN number.


    Q1) Do I need to take 'Sailing or Departure' permit before I leave USA?
    If Yes, where and how can I get ‘'Sailing or Departure’ permit?
    How and from where to get these 'Sailing or Departure' permit before I leave USA?
    (I am planing to leave USA by the end of this month (09/2000))


    Q2) So what do I need to clear all my tax dues in USA before I leave for India?

    Q3) Can I keep my existing SSN number valid, even if I leave this country and go back to India?
    (I might be visiting USA in feature...Might I will return to USA again on H1b visa)

    Q4) Is this following scenario is valid?
    Lets say I will go back to India and I will file all my tax returns from India for year 2000 once I get all my 1099s.

    Q5) I have decided to rollover my 401k money into IRA brokerage account. Do I need to take any special precautions/considerations in this rollover?

    Q6) Can I get my SS money back

    Q7) I still would like to keep my Stocks brokerage account active, so that I can trade USA stocks from India. Is this valid?
