I-539 filed for F2 to F1 , USCIS website shows long back log

Hi ,

I have filed I-539 for status change from F2 to F1 in 7Th May, 2008. Currently in the USCIS website , the status of the case showing pending and they are currently processing the application filed in march , 2007 which means it has long back log . But my school is starting from 22nd aug , 2008 .

What should i do ? Is there any way I can request expedite process ?

I shall be glad if can suggest me ...

I don't think there is way to expedite the I-539.
