Had my interview today. Waited for about 10 minutes before being called in. The interview took about 10 minutes and the guy was affable and very pleasant. Asked me 10 civic questions and got my paper that I passed. It's over !!![]()

Congratulations. You might share your experience for the benefit of others in the process.
I filed in July of 2007 so it took just about a year. Filled out the paperwork and off it went. I should point out that I'm one of the easier cases.
1. Never been married.
2. Never had kids.
3. Traveled out of the country only once in the past ten years (cruise to Mexico).
4. Have never changed names.
Got the fingerprint notice, went early, was out of there within the hour.
Got the interview notice around a month and a half ago. Got there around 20 minutes early. Went in around 20 minutes later. Most of the interview consisted of "Yes" and "No." I had my passport (was never looked at), my green card (they already had a copy) and my driver's license (they made a copy). Got a very nice and smiling gentleman. Asked me 10 civic questions and seemed very happy that I got them all right. Went over a thing or two in the application (mostly checking that it was accurate). Read a written sentence out loud, wrote down a sentence he dictated. Got the paper that I passed. Waiting for my ceremony letter now. Too bad Las Vegas doesn't do swearing ins on the same day. At least I can vote in November![]()
The whole thing was very easy and there was minimal paperwork (then again I'm easy to process).
