Leaving country after H4 B Visa / I-94 expires

Hi All,

My Wife's H4 Visa and I-94 are getting expired on Jul 30,2008.
We have already applied for extension but we have still not received it expect the receipt number.

If she travels out of US in Aug frist week,

a. Will she be asked any question for illegally staying in US after July 30,2008.

Well atleast you can do this: if you applied for extension then carry the proof that the application was delivered FedEx receipt etc. A case number should get assigned soon I guess and receipt available.

Should be more careful in planning travel.
