L1B Visa -- H1B Visa Valid Petition

Hi Everybody,

I have some few questions, pls clarify my doubts

I have L1b visa, which is valid till Dec 1st 2008 to my current employer xx. My h1b got approved by another employer yy.

Question.

Currently i am in India, My xx employer is asking me to apply new L1B visa, because my current L1B visa is going to expire in Dec 1st 2008

Can i get L1b stamped with my xx employer and then after a month, can go for H1b stamping for my yy employer?

I know when i go for H1b stamping my current or new L1B get cancelled and i get H1b stamped.

My question is : can i get L1B stamped even though i have H1b Petition approved, will my H1b petition gets cancelled when i go for L1b stamped.

L1B stamped - Yes
H1B petition - No. They don't cancel your petition.
