    Question I129F - Children question

    Hi,

I am in the very initial process of filing the I129F visa application for my fiance. My fiance has two (2) biological children, but we are not planning to have them join her when she comes over to the States. It may be possible that we will petition her children several years down the road after we have settled together and have approval from the biological father. My question, is it necessary to include/write her children's information on the section that asks about her children? Is it possible to leave it blank or filled in N/A? If yes, would we run into any issues?

Thanks for the time and concern!

You must declare children, especially if you want them to immigrate someday. Declaring children does not mean that they must immigrate with you.
