    Default EAD/AP application

    Hi All,

I am on the process of filing my I-485/I-140 and trying to decide whether I should apply for EAD. From what I have found out, looks like I should get EAD/AP for contingency, but hold on to my H1B.
I have read the info on http://www.immihelp.com/greencard/ad.../eadap-hl.html. Some of the posts seem to contradict what that article says about how your H1B is invalid if you enter the country using AP.
My question is, if I enter the US using AP, will I be able to continue work with my H1?

    Thanks.

If you use AP, use EAD.

    Thanks for the quick response.

Does that mean I HAVE to use EAD if I use AP?

    I'm sure you'll get it.

    Good luck.

Yes, for good reasons. More in this post.
