    Post Vaccinations for Greece

I was reading the comments on the vaccinations. My husband resides in greece and I was wondering if he should have his shots done before going to his interview. We will be submitting our immigration application soon. I am just reading up on the interview. He is a refugee in greece but does not know if they vaccinated him when he went throught the process of getting his pink card.

I am sure he was not vaccinated for what he needs to come to the states. So My question is; Should we work on vaccinations before the interview or should we wait for the interview and physical and go from there?

They only allow certain Dr.'s to perform the physical so I am confused as to what he should and should not do for vaccinations.

    Thank you,

this is the hardest process I have ever seen and each day you learn of something new you have to have and thanks to this site I am aware of so many obsticles I will have to hurdle in order to have my husband with me in the states. Good luck to us all.

You don't have to have any vaccinations to get the visa approved. BUT he will have to complete them in the US to adjust status. So if he can get them cheaply in Greece, then he can finish up everything over there. Most adult men have to get the MMR and Tdap. There is a long list of vaccines, but most are for children and not "age appropriate" for adults. Here's a link, http://www.immihelp.com/greencard/va...uirements.html Also there is a new requirement for a Tuberculin Skin Test for Adjustment of Status, even if you have a chest x-ray showing no tuberculosis.

    Default vaccinations

Thank you so much for the information, I will let him know and tell him to try and get them done in Greece. But this helps a whole lot.
