Middle name in Petition

Dear All,

Hello to every one. Iam very new to this forum, heard about it from my friends that this forum is really doing great..!!!

My name as per passport and every where is SHILPA KATTEKOLA

however, when i received my petition for H1B i see that its written as SHILPA Ashok KATTEKOLA

Ashok is my DAD however i never had a middle name.

Is this a problem..???

Please advice me...

Where did the middle name come from if you never had it? Did your certificates have it? No issue with it. Your visa will be issued as per the name on your passport and you maintain the name as per your passport in every place including the I-94. When you renew your H1b, eliminate the middle name. Your employer could file an amendment to eliminate the middle name though it ain't a big deal.
