Unemployment Insurance and Immigration

I was laid off recently and have a green card. I can claim unemployment insurance, but can someone tell me how will it affect the case of sponsorship of my mother later on down the road when I plan to sponsor her to the US?

At the time of sponsoring your mother, as long as you can prove that you have enough resources to do that, it does not matter whether you filed for unemployment benefits in the past.
