    Default Vistor Visa Rejected

Recently my mother and brother applied for a visitor visa together and the officer approved my mother's visa and rejected my brother's.

My brother is 35 years old. The visa is rejected under 214(b). The officer thought he would be a possible immigrant. My brother looks after our agriculture back home. That is what he stated during the interview.

We don't have that intention it is a pleasure trip. Does anyone recommend to reapply or just forget about it once for all.

    Please advise.
    thanks,
    Soma

    Default Re-apply

I would re-apply. I have read many cases in this board that got approved after re-applying. You might need to provide more proof of his ties in India, and an affadavit about his intentions would'nt hurt.

    Default Vistor Visa Rejected

    HI Thanks for the response.
Actually my brother is married he has kid too. He provided that he has kid and other property documentation. However the documents we taken away by a lady when he entered into the consulate.

The questions i have is do I need to apply throught drop box or should I go for the interview again.

    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Sirigineedi

    Default

If the person is eligible for drop box, he/she should apply through that, else in person.

Your brother(35 years old) is obviously not eligible for drop box.
