Hello,
I have applied for my EAD through mail and it has reached USCIS on 01/05/2009.Is there anyway i can check the status of my EAD? Would they inform me about the fingerprint procedure through mail?

Use your receipt number and check on uscis website.

Thanx a lot.How much time does it approximately take to receive the receipt number from USCIS by mail? My application has reached their office on 5th Jan,2009, but i havent got any reply from their side yet.
