In this case, as your father is not applying, you may leave it blank.

Hi:

My mother is planning to apply for her visa. She plans to come in Feb 2004. My father may or may not accompany her. IT will be decided later. My father already has a tourist visa which is valid for 7 years.

Now while filling up the Form I-134 we came across the section "Name of spouse accompanying applicant" .

I have the following doubts

1. IS it ok to leave it blank - Because we are not sure whether my father is coming or not.

2. If we leave it blank and my mother gets the visa and later my father accompanies her... are we doing somethign wrong by lying or what?

3. If my father's name has to be mentioned, and he does not accompany her.. what happens?

Kindly Help immediately.. She is applying for the visa in Jan 12th. Pls respond immediately
