    Default visa granted and a question

    my aunt went to chennai yesterday, after the interview they said, they are granting visa and pay the DD. But my aunt said they didn't say how many moths.

    question is, they just took only DS-156 and passport original, they returned all other documents. Is that usual?

    They can do whatever they want.

    You will know how many months when she gets her passport back.
