  • Question on concurrent filing fees.

    Hi All,

I am concurrently filing for I-130 & I-485 (includes I-765 & I-131). I had earlier applied for EAD (OPT - optional practical training) when I was on a student visa, but now I am on H1B.

My question: do I have to pay for I-765 & I-131' even when applying it together with I-485?

Fees what I am planning to pay:

    I-130 - $355
    I-485 - $1010

Please advise if I will have to pay for I-765 & I-131, if I had earlier applied for EAD.

    Thanks in advance!

No--you do not need to pay for the I765 and the I131. You need to send two seperate checks to USCIS in the amount of $355 and $1010 as you indicated below.
That's the amount I paid when my paperwork was filed 2 months ago. It helps to track it too if you have online banking...if you write a check from your personal bank account you can track when the USCIS processes the check. At least that is what I did. In my case I received the receipt notice within 2 weeks of filing all the paperwork.
Best of luck--I hope this is helpful.
