My husband received a notice today that his fingerprints have expired and he has to go get them retaken - I am the primary applicant and did not get a notice yet. The appointment is next Tuesday, just over a week away. Problem is he is a truck driver and on the other side of the country and won't get home in time. Can he go to a different ASC in another state on the appointment date or would it be best just to request another appointment?
It is unbelievable to me why fingerprints need retaking - your fingerprints never change. Just prolongs the whole process.

Contact the number or address on the letter you received. Its the location where you need to get your prints taken. I think it says something like....if you need to reschedule the appointment please contact the local office where your appointment is scheduled. I am summarizing of course.
I know its crazy as prints don't change but its one of those things that we will never quite understand.....
