Default Return ticket for visitor visa extension

I 'm planning on applying for visitor visa extension for my mother. She has a 10yr mutliple entry visa. She came here to US(2nd time) in Dec 2003. Her I-94 is till June 15, 04. If I apply for extension(hoping she stays till end of extension -again for 6 more months), I need to do the follwowing for the extension application. I have few questions on below.

    1. Show Return ticket.
For what date should I show the return ticket? Should it be 6 months from the expiry of current I-94(which is dec 04)? Or should I show earlier before DEC, 04. If I need to show earlier how early should the ticket be?

    2. Show strong family ties to thier home country(property, pension, business etc). My father is in India now. So if I write in that letter (to justify longer stay--along with her itenary details in US) that my mom will definetly return back to India after 6 more months as she has to take care of my father and properties there. Is this a good reason?

    3. List places to visit here in US( the reason for extension). Is it good enough that we just write down the places she is planning on visiting with time frames or should we show tickets also for these trips.

Please help. Any input/ experiences are highly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Abbyjr

Default air ticket for B2 extension - plzzzz help ASAP

    Hi,

I am applying for a B2 extension for my mother.
She has a return ticket as per the original plan on Mar 10 ( before the actual I94 expiry Mar 16)
Now we have decided to extend her stay for a couple of months.

One of the supporting document for B2 extension is the air ticket.
    1) Should we show the original air ticket that was purchased at the time she came to US and state that we plan to reschedule that based on the extension approval ?
    2) Should a new ticket be shown with the new planned return date (which will be beyond I94 say around May 15)

    Please help ASAP.
