  • f1 visa rejected please help me

i had an interview today in chennai consulate india. my visa got rejected.

    about myself:
i got an admission in to undergraduate school, no scholarship.
my only sister lives in USA(permanent resident).
i am the only son to my parents.
we dont have any buisness. my father is a governament employee.
my paternal uncle is my sponserer.
in the financial document we showed 18,000$ cash,160,000$ fixed deposit, and other 100,000$ property.where as my expenditure for one year for undergraduate is 16,000$.
i am 28 years old and i have an diploma engineering from india.

now the questions VO asked in the interview.

why do u want to undergraduate in USA not in india?
i gave a very reasonable answer

    Vo:what is your GRE score?
ME:no,i didnt took GRE, bcoz i am applying for undergraduate.
    VOk

VO:you are applying for undergraduate after long time?
    ME: becoz i was working..........

VO:how much salary you are getting now?
    ME: 18,000 RS.

VO:unfortunately we cannot give you the visa.

the thing is VO didnot ask my financial statement, toefl score or my academic records. they just made a descision.

theyy gave a form 214 b, in which they mentioned the reason for rejection. it is bcoz
    1) i will not comeback after finishing my studies,i look like potential immigrant.
2)i dont have enough money to cover my education cost.(but they didnot ask my financial document).

do you think it is a good idea to apply again? if i apply again what are chances of getting. is it just the luck thing where i can try onemore time.
if i apply again is there anyway i can show my ties to my home country.

please please someone advice me. i am feeling so devestated.

    thanks

If you reapply immediately, the chances of success are slim to none. The non availability of aid for UG studies is a big issue. You dont seem to have familial nor financial ties to home country which is the obvious reason for the rejection.
