We have an E2 Business Visa which needs renewing Sept 2010.
We used an Immigration Lawyer initially to obtain change of status whilst here on B2 Visa.
He was not an "expert" at all in UK-USA and made several mistakes along the way so we wont use him again.
Question: Is it better to employ an Immigration expert based in UK to help us renew? If so can anyone point us in the right direction.
Also - if anyone has any experience to share about the renewal process (surely it cant be any more complex/mind-boggling) than the original process - then please share.

We have just done our own renewal and our application is in london now, just waiting to hear, not too difficult really just looads of photocopying and assembling documents.
I did use a lawyer before but he is now out of business and we felt it best to do it ourselves this time, hope we did the right thing
