    Question Question about H1B Documents

    Hi all

My friend is try to apply for H1B visa this year. He has worked with only one company so far. Now he is unable to get the work experience letter from the company.

What is the alternate document that can be produced when he applies for the H1B? (just to clarify, this is not for the Visa interview, it is to applying for the H1B)

    Thanks
    Mani

One of my friend says we can prepare a document stating that the person worked with the company for so-and-so period and get it signed by a co-worker.

Will that be considered a legal document?

It is good if experience certificate coming from valid source like HR or PM.

Your friend has to prove that he was employed with that company for so and so period. He can furnish other documents like offer letter, promotion letter, Bank statement, pay stub etc.

I remember of one post where consulate called the company to verify that person's employment. Which was indeed fake.
I am not a lawyer and this is not a legal advice. Use it at your own risk. Consult professionals before getting into an action.
