Smile N 400- change of address- can I give my friends address

    Hi all,

    1. Can I move to SFO after applying N 400 at NY and give my friends address who is in SFO as change of address (or should there be any relation existing between us) ?
After changing the address to SFO, where will I be called to interview and fingure prints ? SFO or NY ?

    2. I am in the process of obtaining Citizenship, N 400 and another member of family is in the process of obtaining greencard, we both stay together, Can these 2 different process take place without any issues sharing same address?

Can you please suggest and help me in this regard.

    Regards
    Asuna

Usually you will have to inform USCIS of a change of address. There are time restrictions on how long you have to live in a state to be able to apply for immigrations benefits as a citizen of that state.

I am not sure why you are concerned about the other persons application type and yours conflicting in some way. They will not be handled as one.

You can always call or write to USCIS for guidance if you do not find a similar experience on this forum or to validate information you've locate here as well.
