EB-5.... anyone?

Hi guys...

recently, I came across the EB-5 investor visa option to fast-track the green card process... if one invests 500K in one of the regional centers (along with nearly 50K in syndication & admin fees!!!!), then one can get a green card in 6-10 months....

now, all this sounds a bit too good to be true.. and if everyone's experience tells us the truth, then there HAVE TO BE a lot of underlying complications involved with this...

does anyone have experience with the eb-5 stuff? any regional centers which have a good reputation.. (and do give some returns on the 500K investment)?

and more importantly... anyone who has gone through, and completed the entire process.. and got the initial money back???

I have a friend who moved to California three years ago on an EB5 visa. For anyone with reasonable assets this is a fairly easy way in.
