Question Urgent!! Direct Airway Transit Visa To UK

    Hi,

My parents are travelling from India to USA. They are indian nationals. They got 10 years multiple entry visitor visa to USA. They are planning to travel thru british airways. Do they need to have Direct Airway Transit Visa in UK?

I have read articles in Immihelp. Also the british embassy site and found that they don't need transit visa. But travel agent says they need transit visa.

    ------------------------------------------------------------
I found the following info from British embassy site.

In taking this step we have looked for ways to ensure that we keep to a minimum the number of passengers who require a DATV by waiving the requirement for Indian nationals in possession of:

a valid visa and ticket for Canada or the USA

    -------------------------------------------------------------------

If anyone has idea about this, Please send me an immidiate reply.

    Thanks
    Neeraja

No transit visa needed if they are not getting out of airport.

Go through different travel agent. They may not know all the rules.
