Default Need the best J-1 visa insurance

Please note that I'll be visiting University of California - Irvine from December 1, 2009 to March 31, 2010 on a J-1 VISA. I'll be travelling alone. I would like to purchase a suitable Insurance with minimum possible "Deductible" and a good coverage say, $5,00,000. I'm looking for some plan with a very small co-payement such as $5 or $10 per visit/incident. There is no problem about the "Higher" premium/applicable fee. Please reply soon.

Thank you for your interest in purchasing health insurance for your US visit.

You can consider buying Patriot Platinum America at http://www.insubuy.com/patriot-plati...ica-insurance/ You can choose $0 deductible and $5,000,000 policy maximum. Within its well-known PPO network, the coverage is 100%. Outside network, you will have to pay 10% for first $5,000, but the network is very good.

Please note that there is no concept of co-pay of $5 or $10 in short term plans or visitors insurance.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
    Thanks & Regards

Thanks Mr. Khatri for providing me the necessary details. I've searched number of plans and unfortunately, things are still not clear to me. Let me explain again. My stay is going to be 4 months long. I'll be travelling alone. I'm looking for an insurance coverage with $0 deductible and let's say $1,00,000 maximum coverage (it can vary if there are better plans). Maximum premium that I can pay is $600 for these 4 months duration. Could you please suggest me a few plans so that I could compare and decide.

    Thanks for your help.

I got confused earlier when you wrote $5,00,000 because the numbering system (where you put comma) is little different in USA than in India. I believe you meant to write 5 Lakh Dollars ($500,000) but I understood 5 million dollars ($5,000,000).

I believe that when you write $1,00,000, you mean 1 lakh dollars (One hundred thousand dollars, $100,000) and not 1 million dollars ($1,000,000). Please confirm.
    Thanks & Regards

    Please look at http://www.insubuy.com/patriot-america-insurance/

It would cost $310 for $100,000 coverage and $0 deductible, for 4 months.
    Thanks & Regards
