J2 dependent visa medical insurance

I am J1 visa holder.and required to do medical insurance for my spouse 44 years old and my child 13 years old.

Spouse does NOT alwasy mean wife.

To husband - wife is spouse.
To wife - husband is spouse.

That means, you would only include the primary applicant (your wife) and the depenend child (your daughter).
