Default L1 Blanket Visa on hold

    Hi All,

Yest I gave interview at Hyd. U.S. Consulate and at the end of the interview process, consulate gave me 221(g) (White) - which has 14 questions and told me to send it as quickly as possible. she told this is for administrative processing.

    I have some questions here:

Do I need to send question and response in the mail or .txt file?
Do I need to send CV in .txt format?
My case ID is not visible in yest's update.
How long should I describe in detail in general for each question?

Any idea on how long it might take to get my visa/passport? Do I get any acknowledgement upon sending the responses? Do I need to send/employer?

    Thanks a lot in advance.

    Regards | Kranthi

Anser the questions as described in the 221g form and send it to the consulate. They will take the time to do some admin process. You just have to be patient.

txt format is what they ask you to send. Look on the consulate website for details.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.http://www.immihelp.com/visas/h1b/h1-visa-faq.html
