Extending Visitor Visa

Hello

I have purchased open Air India ticket and My 6 month I-94 is going to
expire on Jan 25th. I need to request for extension of Visitor Visa. if I
submit original Open Airindia ticket to bombay and I will also submit my
new ticket (after rescheduling with airindia) for May 20th, will it be
problem ? My concern is, Will it be a problem, Why I purchased Open Air
india ticket ? Will it sound like, I intended to extend my stay when I
landed. or do we don't need to submit original open ticket copy ? and just
new return date May 20th ticket ?
