H1 & H4 Extension stamping together

Hi All,

Can H1 and H4 candidate go together for the Visa extension stamping?

Also, while leaving the US, H4 candidates older I-94 was surrendered but they did not take the new I-94. It's still with the H4 candidate in India. Would that have any adverse effect when H4 candidate goes for Visa Extension?? Please do advise on this.

>>> You need to return all the I-94's before leaving U.S. This will not have an effect on the extension stamping. However, it will create issues later. Look at the below link.
