Re-entry permit for new GC holder

I have a friend who just got a GC but has been barely in the US (two 6 month long trips) because of a sick father.

Do you think a re-entry permit application will be rejected because of little time spent in the US since getting the GC (I think this is one of the questions on the application).

Hi,

I am in the same situation.

I will be applying for the Re-entry permit soon. In the re-entry application form I am supposed to mention 'how many days I have spent outside the US from the time I was granted a GC.

I have had a green card since Dec 2009 (2.5 yrs) but I have lived in the US for 6 months so far and have been making trips to US every 6 months. Do you think my application will be denied?

Has anyone been in this situation?
