    Smile Greencard holders Reentring risks on arrival after a trip to country of persecution.

    Me and my hubby obtained greencards after seeking political asylum in USA.My hubby is the primary applicant.We have to visit our country of persecution for a reason..which seems to us pretty valid.We are looking for some information on risks of reentrying USA in our case.Is there a law that one cannot go to his country of persecution even after obtaining greencard..Kindly help!

    I know I responded to this earlier but the post seems to have been deleted.

    I won't include the link this time but a Fact Sheet was issued in 2006 specifying the possible consequences of making such a trip.
