    Default Parents Visa

    Hi.
I want to apply for a B2 Visa for my parents.

My father's name has been slightly misspelled in his passport.
It is printed as Madhududan instead of Madhusudan.

Is is advisable to start processing his Visa with the incorrect name or get it corrected first? He is retired.

It is best to get it corrected first.

    Default passport correction

I got the passport name corrected and they issued a new passport with a new number.

But, I had already purchased the HDFC receipt on the old passport.
Now do I need to purchase another HDFC receipt or can I still use the old one?

Ask HDFC if they can provide you the corrected receipt.

If not, you will have to buy a new one.

You can not use the existing one as it is.
